Social media has become “ice bucket challenge” media lately, and I despise it. I know I’ll catch a lot of shit for this, but the whole thing annoys me. First, I give to a lot of charities and will generally support any cause people ask me to – within reason – the “Dollar Bills for Red’s Lap Dances” campaign didn’t get a dime from me. The ice bucket thing…it’s really a place for people to try to make a funny video and grab their fifteen minutes of “fame.” Sorry, I won’t be participating. If you want a real challenge, sign up for The Jimmy Fund Walk, or better yet, run the marathon for them.
The one exception to this rant is the Jenny Dell/Lindsay Buchholz soft-porn video. Enjoy.
