Don’t get me wrong: I love the new Monster-inspired Red Sox City Connect jerseys and my wallet’s about 400 bucks lighter after buying a few of them.
But as we’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of that 1975 Red Sox team, I was hoping the Sox might embrace the look of the polyester V-neck pullovers of that era for at least part of this season. The few times they’ve done the throwbacks, they’ve looked great IMO.
