Clearly panicked that the divide between them and the Boston Red Sox has only gotten wider since they were swept out of Fenway, the Yankees have descended into desperation mode, picking up one-time Pittsburgh phenom Andrew McCutchen.
Will it help them catch the Sox? Nah. But at least it gave Puppet Red something to rant about.
