I’ve done my best to erase every trace of last night’s shitshow of a game from my head, with the help of a few whiskey-fueled “mind erasers.” But there was something in last night’s wretched Sox-Yankees contest that Boston fans could appreciate, only it wasn’t part of the actual game.
It came as Olympic hockey star Meghan Duggan threw out the cermonial first pitch and, before winding up, ran two fingers across her neck in homage to Michael Pineda’s pine tar escapades from the previous night.
That there’s some solid gold trolling. And, again, the only thing worth remembering about last night’s game. Well played, Meghan. Well played indeed.
