As you might expect from a guy of his class, character and disposable income, Jon “the Man” Lester took out a full-page in today’s Boston Sunday Globe, thanking Red Sox fans and the city of Boston for the good times we shared.
Of course, as I read it, I kept my eyes open for any “secret coded messages” that might somehow imply a return to Boston next season. Alas, I saw nothing.
That said, you should feel free to subliminally add a “PS: I’ll be back in 2015” to the end of his heartfelt message.
