The Curly-Haired Boyfriend has arrived at spring training. If we’re lucky, the combination of the hot Florida sun and his pasty-white skin will cause spontaneous combustion and we’ll move happily along to the 2010 season. Until then…Dan The Man caught up with Theo…a couple of examples of their friendly banter:
Dan: So how was your winter?
Theo: “I was busy being smug,’’ he said. “You always call me smug. It’s overrated. You should see me after hours.’’
Later in the interview…
Dan: OK, we’ll buy it. For now. But can you jazz things up down here, just a little?
Theo: “We’ll try,’’ he said. “I could light my hair on fire . . . or yours.’’
Somehow, I don’t think Theo is kidding…
