The 2012 Red Sox really don’t seem to be able to do anything right. They had a shot to help out Baltimore and Tampa by beating the Yankees, instead they dropped two-out-of-three. Tonight they start a series against Tampa, and as much as I hate the Rays and their fans, I’d rather see them in October than the Yankees. So I’m fine if the Sox just keep on suckin’. That 7-20 last September that cost Tito his job is looking better and better. When was the last time you had that giant capital E next to the Red Sox in mid-September?
Tom Brady’s homage to Tony “The Duck” Eason yesterday brought back memories. He folded like a beach chair whenever the defense got near him. And don’t blame Gostkowski for the loss, Pats should never have been in that situation against a crappy Arizona team.
