The Tampa Bay Rays will take their act on the road to Texas this weekend, where I fully expect their season to end. Is there a more fraudulent team in the post-season than the Rays? In the first two games, at home, the Rays managed a total of just eight hits, one run, and three errors. It makes October that much harder knowing the Sox would be at least putting up a fight against the Rangers, and probably beating the Twins.
At least Minnesota is being competitive, but the results are the same: down 2-0 and heading into enemy territory. I still can’t cope with Sox-less baseball in early October. I found myself drifting over to the Big Shamrock and pre-season basketball last night. The horror. Start the countdown to Truck Day. Please.
