If we’ve learned anything from the ’80s sitcom The Facts of Life, it’s that Nancy McKeon is one of this country’s most valuable acting resources, and that you take the good, you take the bad.
So even though I find it particularly disturbing that the Sox are 6-6 against the lowly Orioles, a team on pace to lose 635 games this season, I find solace in the fact that six Sox players have been named to the 2010 All Star Team.
Not that I’ll be watching, mind you. But folks like Adrian Beltre’s mom must be pretty freakin’ stoked.
