Attention book I’ve been reading, TV show I dig watching and ladies I enjoy tossing back beers with.
As of Sunday, consider me gone.
You see, the Red Sox are back. And you know how this goes. It happens every year. There’s only so much room in this heart of mine. I need to keep some room vacant for the likes of Mike Cameron and Adrian Beltre and the other new guys who will be endearing themselves to me in no time.
Also, we’re getting a full season of Remy again, after getting 50% less last year. I can’t show my support for Remdawg and DO by hunkering down with a book under a tree. I need to be there for every game, as it happens, live on my TV screen.
It’s nothing personal. I’ll be back come winter. It’s just that now… I need my space.
