I tweeted this last night and, having thought about it for a while, I have to say I still feel the same today.
I’m not quite sure what’s happened to the pride of West Roxbury High, but from here on out, I’d relegate him to mop-up duty and give Ramon Ramirez the nod when the call goes out during the playoffs. Yeah, you’re damn right Monday’s game is still bothering me; if you can’t prevent one of the worst teams in baseball from tagging you for three hits and four runs in 2/3 of an inning’s work, well, how can we depend on you against the best of the best?
