John Smoltz avoided the “one bad inning” syndrome by sucking in all five he pitched today. Is there really anyone left out there that thinks this guy can pitch in the majors, let alone the AL East? He is getting lit up by teams like Washington, Oakland and Baltimore. I sure as hell don’t want to see what the Angels or Yankees would do to this guy.
Mr. Smoltz – you had a great career, get out with your dignity. Please.
