So much to say about yesterday’s win in Toronto yet very little time to say it. Let me just welcome back vintage Jon Lester, who struck out a career high 12, give praise to the two-home-run-hitting Youkbacca, and send kudos to The Elf, who had a three-run home run in the leadoff slot.
This win not only spared us the embarrassment of being swept by the sinking Jays, who had lost nine straight before we came to town, it also moved us just a half-game behind The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants in the East standings.
