Honestly, there’s no one I enjoy watching play the game more than the Elf Himself.
And when he was named the AL MVP yesterday, my favorite quote from the 2008 season came to mind. This one from Ozzie Guillen after Pedroia went 4-for-4 to help spank the White Sox:
“A lot of people talk about Manny leaving,” Guillen said. “I wish Pedroia was leaving.”
I couldn’t be happier for the guy. And I couldn’t be hungrier for the 2009 season to start. No baseball, no peace!
