Though it wasn’t heard as frequently as “Sweet Caroline” or “Dirty Water,” Boston’s “More Than a Feeling” would crop up on the Fenway P.A. system from time to time, most notably during the 2004 playoffs. Yesterday, Brad Delp, lead singer of Boston, died, and, as the band’s website declares today, we just lost one of the nicest guys in rock and roll.
Curiously, for the last couple years, we’ve had someone posting as “Brad Delp” in our comments section. I’m sure it was the Brad Delp. But ya never know…
Anyway, the man’s in our thoughts and prayers today.
