Wanted – Starting pitcher with potential to turn closer. Must have diminishing skills as exhibited by annually decreasing wins, inversely proportional to increasing ERA.
Candidate must show balanced strikeout to walk ratio, or a clear trend to achieve that balance.
Double-digit losses per year are a plus. Shutouts are not accepted.
Travel required: Strong potential for several trips to Pawtucket.
