NESN, the good folks who’ve brought us Hazel Mae, Remdawg and the Mentally Challenged Fisherman, are teaming up with the producers of Queer Eye for a Red Sox reality dating show. Or something like that.

In each episode one Sox fan will be paired up with a different date for two innings at a time at Fenway Park as the cameras roll. That fan will then choose who to spend the rest of the game with during the seventh inning stretch, but could also face rejection.

Not as clever as my idea for a reality show that would have followed Curtis Leskanic and Mike Timlin as they tried to break into local sorority houses, but I’m willing to give it a shot. I’ve already fired off a list of my own suggestions, which include Kelly the Ball Girl, fifteen metric tons of carrots, and the loser being subjected to a “feeling up” by Frank Viola.
