Man I really, really hope we keep this guy. What are the chances of taking out a hit on Scotty Boras just to make sure the Damon Negotiations don’t morph into Circus of the Stars? Who’s gonna rock the house and the long hair like Johnny D? Perhaps more importantly, who’s gonna take on the mantle of “hottest Sox player’s wife” if Damon and the missus shake right out of town?

The Red Sox are not an easy team to play for. You have to have the personality and the makeup for it. Our group of guys won’t be missed until we’re gone. I don’t think people will realize what we had until we’re gone. It seems like it’s starting to unravel a little bit.
