No, I am not at Opening Day. Thanks to “the man” keeping me down, I’m not sure if I will even get to watch the game. Based on the last six games and today’s starting pitcher I’m not sure I want to watch the game.
John Lackey starts, for me, are where hopes and dreams go to die. I have no confidence in the chances of win number one occurring today. Given the Yankee line-up and Lackey’s propensity for putting runners on base…it just doesn’t add up. The one sliver of hope is that Hughes will suck worse than Lackey.
Don’t get me wrong, I am rooting for a win, pulling for a good outing…but I have to be realistic.
Prove me wrong, Lackey. Please.
