Let me get this straight: Last night, Daisuke Matsuzaka comes close to no-hitting the reigning NL champions, and then this afternoon, Shakey Wakey’s knuckler holds the same team spellbound for eight innings while the Sox’ bats dismantle Roy Halladay?
Can someone please remind me what friggin’ planet this is?
All I know is a Red Sox team that seemed curiously inept just a week ago is starting to click in ways I didn’t think I’d see this year. And all this surrealism sets the stage nicely for the final episode of LOST, which is where I’ll be tonight.
And in honor of the last episode of LOST, here’s my favorite collision of the Red Sox and pop culture:
Keep the faith, people. We must always keep the faith.
