For many Pats fans, this weekend’s AFC Championship match-up is a nightmare come true. Jets versus Colts, both sworn enemies of the New England football following, playing for a chance to go to the Superbowl.
Give me the Colts any day. The Jets have been a rival forever, the Colts are relatively new in the role. The Jets are from New York, the Colts are not. To put it in baseball terms, it would be like rooting for the Yankees to win the ALCS. I don’t care if they’re playing the Al-Queda All-Stars, I want the Yankees to go down.
And in yet another opinion that doesn’t endear me to the readers, I think Peyton Manning is a riot. His commercials are good and his appearance on SNL was hilarious. By the time I post this I’m sure NBC will have removed it from the site and I will never be seen again. They’re good like that…
