The Red Sox held a press conference yesterday to announce the signing of Marco Scutaro. Red and I don’t own enough storage space for me to list the names of all those who have graced the left side of second base since Nomah!’s departure, so we just offer a hearty welcome.

Tito’s Nickname Pool: “Scooter” would just be too obvious…I’m going with “Scoots”
The Shortstop Deadpool: I’ll give him one year (of his 2 plus a club option contract) before some other young buck captures Theo’s heart.
