Let’s be honest. There is no way the Red Sox are going to win the division. I’m not a pessimisst, I’m a realist. And I would love nothing more than to be proved wrong. But I won’t be.
That said, yesterday was a friggin fantastic game, and an important boost of confidence that we needed to right the ship if and when we face the Yanks in the playoffs.
And today, we get “Brown the Clown.” Just back from the DL to face the AL’s best pitcher. Someone in NY either has a lot of faith in Kevvy, or is starting the file on reasons to keep him off the postseason roster.
