All the 2012 Sox did last night was keep hope alive for the Rays. But the 2004 Sox stole the show in the pre-game celebration commemorating their World Series win, and then, later, when Millar and Pedro joined Remy & DO in the booth.
Here’s a sampling of the latter, in which Millar critiques Wakefield’s hairdo and explains how Manny never picked up a restaurant tab. Further proof that the Red Sox NEED to hire Millar in some capacity, whether it’s first base coach or bullpen raker or between-innings harpist. The guy makes even the most unbearable viewing somehow viewable.
