You see a lot of strange things when the TV cameras point into the dugout. Pedro with a Yoda mask. Curt scribbling in his notebook. Tito picking his nose. Timlin performing light taxidermy.
But there’s nothing I’ve ever seen that was quite as weird as Manny “massaging” Tavarez’ dome during Sunday’s game.
I mean, where they even aware that they were on television? Is this the sort of thing they just do whenever they find themselves seated next to each other on the bench?
Between this and the pizza tossing last month, NESN is bringing back the golden age of television. What’s next? Remy and DO in full KISS make-up?
