Look, when the Sox head up to Canada to play the Jays, I’m gonna bust with the silly-ass references to Rush lyrics. That’s just how it is. You’re either with me or you’re off in the corner, trying to hammer “Felix Doubront” into a Bryan Adams song. Well, I’ve tried it and it doesn’t work. Trust me.
Anyway, the Sox open three in the Great White North, where there’s no one named “Cabrera” or “Fielder” to mess with our heads. As I see it, no better way to wash the ugliness of yesterday’s heartbreaker from our minds than with a pasting of the Jays and the first win of the season. Make it happen, boys. Please.
And remember, a victory against the Blue Jays is a victory for America. God bless Bud Selig.
